Hello From Rainy California!
(Spoiler: I love rain)
I have had many family members and friends reaching out to ask if we are OK in the storms that are going on in California. I have never been more grateful that our new home is well below the snowline, so we only get a light dusting. We have had plenty of wind and rain, some hail and sleet, and a day of snow that did not stick.
I do not miss it for a minute after nearly eighteen years of dealing with 10-15’ of snow every year. It’s really pretty for those who do not live in it, but ongoing power outages (some lasting for a week or longer), digging your vehicles out which are completely covered with giant mounds of snow, and trying to safely drive over twenty miles to get anything you need was harrowing. Not to mention that often, all roads out of town were closed because they were too hazardous to travel.
Rain, however, I love and this latest storm has provided a much-needed cleansing for me. The waterfalls that erupt out of the hillsides are flowing beautifully and magically and the land is drinking up all this hydration.

This is the Grand Tableau Lenormand reading. If you have never had one, you are in for a treat. For those who do not know, Tarot tells you the energy surrounding a situation and creates most likely scenarios based on how things are progressing at the moment.
Lenormand, however, is very specific. We read the cards in pairs, normally by laying out the 36-38 card deck in 18-19 groups of two. Several years ago, I got the idea of creating a mat with the name of each card on it, then using the entire deck laid out on the mat as a reading.
Reading this way gives you valuable insight on all areas of your life including where you are in current life cycles, how others relate to you and your progress, what obstacles are in your way, plus information on health, love, work, and your home all in one reading. I’m often asked how often or if a person needs a spiritual cleansings. Getting a spiritual cleansing is sort of like getting a professional cleaning done on your teeth. You can brush and floss and should to be healthy, but every now and then, you need a professional in there to really do a deep cleansing. This is an essential part of quality spiritual hygiene, especially for people who are in high-risk jobs (teachers, police and other first responders, customer service agents, etc.) for exposure to negativity. People who frequently interact with others online may also be at high risk for exposure to negative energy.
A remote spiritual cleansing resets your energy to baseline and removes any invasive or toxic energies that came in front the outside. This can include energies intentionally sent to you like curses or hexes, or those you inadvertently contract such as crossings or entities. A cleansing also can identify past traumas and attachments that hold you back from forward progress.
How often a person needs a cleansing depends on their degree of ongoing exposure. A job or lifestyle with frequent exposure to negative energy requires more frequent cleansings. Someone who is great at shielding from external negative energy will require less frequent cleansings that someone who is always energetically wide open.

Can you cleanse yourself? ehhhhh… sort of, but I liken it to cleaning a window with a muddy cloth. Since you are the one who is contaminated, it is next to impossible to adequately cleanse yourself. This means yep! I have my own set of professionals I go to for my regular cleansings.
